Description
A three-section horizontal test has been permitted by Felix Energy LLC at its West Texas Wolfcamp drilling program in Ward County (RRC Dist. 8). The #1H Emmaline 848586-F is expected to reach a true vertical depth of 13,000 ft and will be drilled in Section 84, Block F, G&HMB&A Survey, A-44. The horizontal leg is slated to extend through Section 85 and bottom about 2.3 miles to the northwest in Section 86 – a Wolfcamp oil completion would be placed in Phantom Field. With 3 miles to the northwest, The Denver-based company is currently drilling two two-section horizontal tests from a pad in Section 5, Block 17, University Lands Survey, A-U44. at #2H University Lands Guanella 0504-17 and #3H University Lands Guanella 0504-17. The Delaware Basin tests are targeting Wolfcamp in Phantom Field.
