Description
Raptor Petroleum Development has completed the first horizontal well in Jordan Field, a West Texas reservoir on the Central Basin Platform of the Permian Basin. According to IHS Markit, the Ector County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas, well was originally drilled in by Hadaway Consulting & Engineering: #293H Connell was tested on-pump producing 285 bbl of 31-degree-gravity oil, 80 Mcf of gas and 5.543 Mbbl of water per day from unspecified perforations in San Andres. The well was drilled to 11,275 ft and fractured, and is in Section 29, Block B16, PSL Survey, A-869 with a true vertical depth of 3,535 ft. The venture bottomed about 1.5 miles to the northwest in Section 13. Raptor is based in Edmond, Okla.
