Description
The first Illinois Camp East Field horizontal producer was completed by Midland, Texas-based COG Operating Inc. The #1H Lajitas BWQ State Com is in Section 26-18s-28e in Eddy County, N.M., and was tested flowing 154 bbl of crude, 426 Mcf of gas and 2.444 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 7,553-14,400 ft in Second Bone Spring. It was drilled to 14,669 ft, 7,589 ft true vertical, and is on the Carlsbad Shelf. Gauged on an unreported choke size, the flowing tubing pressure was 120 psi. Previous Bone Spring oil and gas production in Illinois Camp East Field has come from two vertical wells.
