Description
More Arkoma Basin horizontal Fayetteville completions were announced by Southwestern Energy Co. in Faulkner County, Ark. In Section 5-8n-11w, #3-5H Horton 8-11 initially flowed 9.96 MMcf/d of gas, with no water. The discovery was tested through perforations at 5,249-10,789 ft following a 12-stage acidizing and fracturing. The B-43 Field venture has a northwest lateral extending to 10,862 ft, 4,973 ft true vertical. The #4-5H31 Horton 8-11 flowed 10 MMcf of gas per day after a 13-stage acidizing and fracturing at 5,478-11,563 ft. The #11-8H6 Carney 8-11 in Section 8 was tested through perforations at 5,763-11,771 ft flowing 10.2 MMcf/d of gas following acid treatments and a 12-stage fracturing. The #10-8H6 Carney 8-11, completed from the same pad as #11-8H6 Carney 8-11, flowed 10.1 MMcf/d of gas during initial tests of a parallel lateral at 6,555-12,409 ft.
