Samson Resources has completed four directionally-drilled Fort Union wells from a common drillpad in the Washakie Basin in Section 8-14n-95w of Sweetwater County, Wyo. According to the company, the average 30-day production is as follows: #02 V-FTUN 1495-S17, 1.353 Mboe/day (55% liquids); #23V-FTUN 1495-S08-23V, 1.312 Mboe/day (54% liquids); #24 V-FTUN 1495-S08-24V, 1.19 Mboe/day (47% liquids) and #03 V-FTUN 1495-S17-03V, 1.298 Mboe/day (53% liquids). The wells were drilled to approximate depths of 10,400 ft and completed them with a “generation two” completion design The company operates all four wells with 100% working interest and has 87.5% net revenue interest in each well. Samson is based in Tulsa.
