Description
Exploration well #1-Karmin in Poland's onshore Fences Concession was tested flowing up to 6.7 MMcf/d of gas from Rotliegend Sandstone. London-based FX Energy reported that a 30-m gas interval had porosity of up to 30% with no water. A production test is planned to determine flowrates and reserves. Another Rotliegend Sandstone well is underway at #1-Baraniec and an additional well is planned at #1-Angowice in the Edge Block and targets a 3D-defined Devonian reefoidal buildup at a projected depth of 3,084 m. PGNiG is the operator with 51% interest and FX holds the remaining 49%. FX is the operator of the Edge Block and #1-Angowice with 100% interest.
