Drilling Activity Summary

Description

In the central Poland Block 246 concession, London-based FX Energy has completed a drillstem test in the upper five meters (1,542-47 meters) of a 45-meter pay zone in Main Dolomite at exploration well #1-Frankowo. According to the company, the test was limited to three short flow periods with one initial shut-in period for pressure measurements. The well produced approximately 2 million cu. ft. of gas per day with a small amount of condensate in the third flow period without cleanout or well stimulation. Flow periods were brief due to hydrogen sulfide gas in Main Dolomite. The gas includes approximately 22% hydrocarbons, including liquids, and approximately 78% inerts. The company plans to acquire regional and prospect-specific 2-D seismic in 2012-2013 and drill one or more prospects in either or both Rotliegend and Main Dolomite during 2013. FX Energy is the operator of Block 246 and #1-Frankowo with 100% interest.
