Description
Oil & Gas Development Co. announced an gas and condensate discovery at exploration well #01-Togh Balal in the Kohat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan. The venture was drilled to a total depth of 2,172 m and was targeting Lockhart. During an openhole test, the well produced 9 MMcf of gas and 125 bbl of condensate per day. It was tested on a 32/64-inch choke, and the wellhead flowing pressure was 1,690 psi. The discovery is the second consecutive discovery in the Kohat Block. Oil & Gas Development, based in Mumbai, is the operator with 50% interest, with partners Mari Petroleum Company Ltd. (33.33%) and Saif Energy Ltd. (16.67%).
