Drilling Activity Summary
Description
An independent estimate of contingent un-conventional gas resources for Real Energy Ltd's Cooper Basin ATP927P permit in Queensland increased prospective original gas in place resources for the permit area by more than 141% to 13.7 Tcf from pre-drilled estimates of 5.7 Tcf. Existing well data, 2-D seismic and log-and-test data were used to characterize the target interval. The data was gathered from the subject wells and open file data from wells in adjacent permits. The new estimate also includes drilling and testing, including two recent gas wells, #1-Queenscliff and #1-Tamarama, even though hydraulic fracturing is not yet completed. Target intervals for the study are Permian age lacustrine and fluvial sediments of the Toolachee and Patchawarra. North Sydney-based Real Energy is the operator of Block ATP927P with 100% interest.
