Description
At the company's Gramma Ridge prospect in Lea County, N.M., Caza Oil & Gas Inc. has completed a horizontal Bone Spring well. The #2H Gramma 27 State was drilled to 14,650 ft, 10,268 ft true vertical, and targeted Second Bone Spring Sand. The venture was fracture stimulated in 24 stages and had a daily gross rate of 679 bbl of oil and 1.15 MMcf of gas per day. Tested on an adjustable 42/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 370 psi. The horizontal leg was drilled out of a 10,600-ft pilot hole and is in Section 27-21s-34e. Caza's headquarters are in Midland, Texas.
