Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Unit Petroleum Co. completed a horizontal Pennsylvanian Granite Wash well. The Mendota Northwest Field venture, #3H Campbell 39 SL, is in Section 34, Block 1, I&GN Survey, A-369, in Hemphill County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas. It was tested flowing 8.45 MMcf of gas, 30 bbl of 50-degree-gravity condensate and 257 bbl of water per day. Gauged on an open choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 347 psi and the shut-in tubing pressure was 413 psi. The discovery was drilled northward to 16,315 ft and bottomed in Section 39, Block 1, I&GN Survey, A-374. Production is from perforations at 15,630-16,178 ft after acidizing and fracturing. The true vertical depth is 11,100 ft. According to IHS, three additional stacked-lateral horizontal tests are planned by the Tulsa, Okla.-based company on the pad at #4H, #5H and #6H Campbell 39.
