Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Denver-based QEP Resources Inc. completed a western Anadarko Basin producer in Wheeler County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas, that flowed 6.96 million cu. ft. of gas, 1,145 bbl. of 55-gravity condensate and 1,024 bbl. of water per day. The #6033H Morrison is in Section 48, Block A-3, H&GN Survey, A-8215. Production comes from a fracture-stimulated horizontal interval of the Caldwell member of Des Moines Granite Wash at 13,094-17,410 ft. According to IHS Inc., the shut-in wellhead pressure was 1,813 psi with flowing casing pressure gauged at 505 psi on a 64/64-in. choke. The Frye Ranch Field venture was drilled northward across the section to 17,580 ft., 12,282 ft. true vertical.
