Description
IHS reported that Grenadier Energy Partners II LLC has completed its first horizontal well in Webster Parish, La., in an area with no horizontal production. The #1 Lee E. Quinton 25H was tested flowing 553 Mcf of gas per day from Cotton Valley perforations at 9,754-13,725 ft. It was tested on a 26/64-in. choke and the flowing casing pressure was 704 psi. The Shongaloo North Red Rock Field well was drilled to 13,986 ft and is in Section 25-23n-10w. The lateral bottomed one mile to the south at a true vertical depth of 9,405 ft. Grenadier is based in The Woodlands, Texas.
