Drilling Activity Summary
Description
In Hemphill County, (RRC Dist. 10), Texas, Latigo Petroleum Inc. completed an Anadarko Basin producer. The #5H Hanson 29 flowed 17.4 million cu. ft. of gas, 586 bbl. of 54-gravity condensate and 1,270 bbl. of water per day. The Houston-based company's well is in Section 29, Block 41, H&TC Survey, A-172. Production comes from a horizontal Des Moines Granite Wash interval between 12,282 and 16,171 ft. that was acidized and fracture-stimulated in 10 stages. Gauged on a 64/64-in. choke, the shut-in casing pressure was 5,095 psi and the flowing casing pressure was 2,744 psi. The MEG Field prospect was drilled to 16,288 ft., 11,432 ft. true vertical.
