Description
Walsh Petroleum Inc. has completed a horizontal Platang Field well in Yoakum County (RRC Dist. 8A) on the Northwestern Shelf of the Permian Basin. The #1H Pharr A 309 was tested producing 185 bbl of oil, with 217,000 cu ft of gas and 1,610 bbl of water per day from San Andres. Fracture-stimulated perforations are at 5,900-10,803 ft and it was drilled to 10,990 ft and is in Section 336, Block D, John H. Gibson Survey, A-1463. The 1-mile lateral bottomed to the north at a true vertical depth of 5,283 ft in Section 309, Block D, J.H. Gibson Survey, A-191.
