Description
Marathon Oil Co. announced results from a Karnes County (RRC Dist. 2), Texas, Eagle Ford venture. The Eagleville Field well, #6H Davidson Oxford Unit, was tested flowing 1,807 bbl of 45° API oil, 824,000 cu ft of gas and 455 bbl of water during a 24-hour period. It was drilled in Section 522, RC Brashear Survey, A-54 to 16,126 ft, 11,040 ft true vertical. Gauged on a 24/64-inch choke, the flowing casing pressure was 2,280 psi. Production is from perforations between 11,306 ft and 16,112 ft. Marathon’s headquarters are in Houston.
