Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Three Anadarko Basin producers in Wheeler County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas, were completed by Houston-based Linn Energy. The #9H Huff 32, Section 32, Block A-4, H&GN Survey, A-8262, flowed 2,905 bbl. of 47.5-degree-gravity oil, 4.31 million cu. ft. of gas and 1,604 bbl. of water per day. Production is from a horizontal interval of Missourian Kansas City B at 11,258-14,462 ft. that was acidized and fracture stimulated in 12 stages. Tested on a 64/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,675 psi. The 15,621-ft. Mills Ranch Field venture was drilled to a true vertical depth of 10,786 ft. A west offset, #8H Huff 32, flowed 2,313 bbl. of 47-degree-gravity oil with 4.64 million cu. ft. of gas and 1,714 bbl. of water daily after a 10-stage acidizing and fracturing. The well was tested on a 64/64-in. choke and the flowing tubing pressure was 490 psi. The venture was perforated between 11,054 and 15,448 ft. in a northerly Kansas City B lateral that was drilled to 15,595 ft., 10,764 ft. true vertical. The #7H Huff is half a mile further to the west. It was perforated, acidized and fractured in 10 stages at 11,083-15,381 ft. in a north Kansas City B leg. The well initially flowed 1,491 bbl. of 46-degree-gravity oil, 2.75 million cu. ft. of gas and 821 bbl. of water daily. The measured and true vertical depths are 15,562 ft. and 10,721 ft., respectively. The company reported a flowing tubing pressure of 1,450 psi on a 64/64-in. choke.
