Description
In Wheeler County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas, a Linn Energy well initially flowed 1,051 bbl. of 44-degree-gravity oil, 1.51 million cu. ft. of gas and 658 bbl. of water. The #2H Frye 9 is in Section 9, Block A-3, H&GN Survey, A-199. The well was tested on a 64/64-in. choke and the flowing tubing pressure was 200 psi. Production is from a horizontal section of the Missourian Kansas City A (Hogshooter) granite wash at 11,352-15,649 ft. The 15,817-ft. Mills Ranch Field well was acidized and fractured in 10 stages and had a true vertical depth of 10,687 ft. Linn's headquarters are in Oklahoma City.
