Drilling Activity Summary
Description
A Linn Energy development test in Wheeler County, (RRC Dist. 10), Texas, initially flowed 31.1 million cu. ft. of gas, 135 bbl. of 47-degree-gravity condensate and 195 bbl. of water per day. The #4H Stein 1 is in Section 1, C&M Survey, A-412. Production is from a horizontal interval of Atoka granite wash at 14,483-18,168 ft. that was acidized and fracture-stimulated in 12 stages. Gauged on a 128/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure and the shut-in tubing pressure were both 2,800 psi. The 18,375-ft. Frye Ranch Field well was drilled northward in the section with a true vertical depth of 14,122 ft. Linn's headquarters are in Oklahoma City.
