An exploration plan has been approved for LLOG Exploration Co. for a two-block prospect south of the company’s Delta House floating production system. The Covington, La.-based company’s Moby Dick prospect will be drilled in the southeastern portion of Mississippi Canyon Block 386 (OCS G34438). A second test is also planned for the tract. Another two exploratory tests could be drilled on neighboring Block 387 (OCS G22873). Water depth in the area is 6,400 ft.
