Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Lobo Operating Inc., based in Covington, La., has recompleted a Louisiana state waters gas well on Breton Sound Block 16. The #1 State Lease 17303 flowed 802 Mcf/d of gas per day through Bigenerina A (Miocene) perforations at 3,700-18 ft. Gauged on a 10/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,450 psi and the flowing casing pressure was 200 psi. The directional well was originally drilled in 2002 by Amerada Hess to 5,325 ft, 4,674 ft true vertical. In 2002, the well was tested flowing 1.6 MMcf of gas per day from Bigenerina A perforations at 5,118-22 ft. Through 2013, well recovery was 1.6 Bcf of gas and 302 bbl of condensate. It is the lone producer in Block 16 Field.
