In Red River Parish, La., Longview, Texas-based J-W Operating Co. completed a horizontal Lower Cotton Valley well as part of Woodardville Field. The #1 Indigo Minerals LLC 3 was tested flowing 20 million cu. ft. of gas and 500 bbl. of water per day through perforations at 12,422-16,752 ft. The flowing casing pressure was 8,500 psi on a 22/64-in. choke. The producer was drilled to a total depth of 16,850 ft. with a true vertical depth of 12,288 ft.
