A Lower Cotton Valley producer in Lincoln Parish, La., produced 15.08 million cu. ft. of gas, 73 bbl. of crude, and 1,392 bbl. of water per day. The Wildhorse Resources LLC well, #1-Alt Dowling 21-6H, was horizontally drilled to 16,178 ft., 11,214 ft. true vertical, in Section 21-19n-4w. The Terryville Field well bottomed one mile north beneath Section 16. Flowing tubing pressure was 4,900 psi when tested on a 28/64-in. choke. According to IHS Inc., the Houston-based company has more Lower Cotton Valley tests planned in the area including #1-Alt Dowling 20-17H in Section 20-19n-4w, and #1 LA Minerals 36 in Section 36-19n-5w.
