Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Two Meramec discoveries were announced by Houston-based Marathon Oil Co. in Blaine County, Okla. The wells were drilled from a pad in Section 25-17n-10w in the Stack play. The #4-25-24MXH Lloyd 1710 initially flowed 2.035 Mbbl of 48-degree-gravity oil, 2.34 MMcf of gas and 13 bbl of water per day. It tested on a 32/64-in. choke producing through fracture-stimulated perforations between 9,378 and 16,639 ft. It was drilled to the north about 1.5 miles to 16,757 ft (8,885 ft true vertical) and bottomed in Section 24. The #3-25-24MXH Lloyd 1710 flowed 1.935 Mbbl of oil with 2.98 MMcf of gas and 51 bbl of water during a 24-hour flow test run on a 32/64-in. choke. Production is from fractured perforations at 9,440-16,919 ft in a parallel wellbore.
