Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Houston-based Marathon Oil Corp. completed two Eagleville Field wells in Lavaca County (RRC Dist. 2), Texas. IHS Markit reported that #1H Drellek Unit flowed 4.438 MMcf of gas, 333 bbl of condensate and 2,461 bbl of water per day from acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 13,070-21,603 ft. Tested on a 20/64-inch choke, the flowing casing pressure was 6,455 psi. The horizontal gas well was drilled to 21,725 ft (13,275 ft true vertical). The offsetting #1H Mad King Unit produced 3.781MMcf of gas with 251 bbl of condensate and 2,651 bbl of water per day. Drilled to 21,663 ft (13,346 ft true vertical), production is from perforations at 13,471-21,536 ft. It was tested on a 20/64-inch choke and the flowing casing pressure was 6,219 psi. The wells were drilled in Silas Harrelson Survey, A-222, and both bottomed 2 miles to the south-southeast in Augustus Douglass Survey, A-141.
