Description
Results from two Mountrail County, N.D., wells were announced by Houston-based Marathon Oil Co. The ventures were drilled at a Reunion Bay Field pad in Section 21-151n-93w. The #44-21H AKKO USA was drilled to 21,106 ft (10,605 ft true vertical) and was tested after 45-stage fracturing. It flowed 5,824 bbl of 41° API oil with 5.454 MMcf of gas and 7,760 bbl of water daily from Middle Bakken. Production is from perforations at 11,108-20,972 ft. Gauged on a 64/64-inch choke, the flowing casing pressure was 1,220 psi. The offsetting #44-21TFH ASLAK USA produced 3,254 bbl of 41° API oil, 10.103 MMcf of gas and 2,702 bbl of water per day. Drilled to 21,195 ft (10,698 ft true vertical), the well is producing from a perforated Upper Three Forks zone at 11,197-21,061 ft. The flowing casing pressure was 1,200 psi during testing on a 64/64-inch choke.
