Description
A horizontal Mowry discovery by Peak Powder River Resources LLC was reported on the southern flank of the Powder River Basin. Located in Section 27-43n-74w in Campbell County, Wyo., the #2-27-22MH Roush-Federal initially flowed 1.352 Mbbl of oil, with 525 Mcf of gas and 3.721 Mbbl of water daily. Production is from a Mowry lateral extending from 11,244 ft northward to a total depth of 21,350 ft with a bottom-hole location in Section 22-43n-74w. The true vertical depth is 12,090 ft. It was tested on a 32/64- in. choke following 57-stage fracture stimulation between 12,622 and 21,094 ft. Peak Powder River is based in Durango, Colo.
