Description
Neptune Energy has spud an appraisal well in the offshore Norway Dugong license area. The Dugong discovery is in production license 882 and was one of the largest discoveries on the Norwegian Continental Shelf in 2020. Neptune estimates recoverable resources to be between 40-120 MMboe. The reservoir lies at a depth of 3,250-3,400 m. Dugong is located in water depth of 330 m and is close to the existing production facilities of Snorre Field.
