Description
Venture Oil & Gas Inc., based in Laurel, Miss., has completed a Cotton Valley well in Jones County, Miss. The Reedy Creek Field well, #1 Ramsey 3-15, was tested flowing 205 Mcf of gas and 205 bbl of 43-de-gree-gravity oil from perforations at 15,336-796 ft. The discovery was tested on a 13/64-in. choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 563 psi. It was directionally drilled to the south to 16,537 ft in Section 3-9n-11w.
