Drilling Activity Summary
Description
In Louisiana’s St. Martin Parish, Zachry Exploration has reopened Arnaudville Field. The #1 Big Oak Farms LLC was tested flowing 15.08 MMcf of gas and 48 bbl of 40.6° crude per day from Frio at 11,462-11,468 ft. The directional gas producer was drilled to 11,848 ft and is in irregular Section 38-8s-5e. It was tested on a 9/64-inch choke, and the flowing tubing pressure was 4,050 psi, and the flowing casing pressure was 750 psi. The well is about 1 mile east of abandoned production in Arnaudville South Field, a St. Martin Parish reservoir that produced 9.6 Bcf of gas and 256,698 bbl of oil/condensate between 1949 and 2012, primarily from Frio. Zachry’s headquarters are in San Antonio.
