Newfield Production Co. is drilling at an extended-reach horizontal well in the Uinta Basin in Duchesne County, Utah. According to IHS Markit, The #4-16 3-2-16-21-13H NOOH TUH VWEEP is in Section 16-3s-2w, and is being drilled to the south-southeast with a planned depth of 19,680 ft (8,500 ft true vertical) and will bottom in Section 21. No objectives were disclosed, but presumed to be a Green River oil zone. It's a west offset to two horizontal Green River producers on a common drillpad in the same section, both of which were completed in late 2014.
