Description
A Niobrara confirmation well was drilled by Oklahoma City-based Chesapeake Operating Inc. in Converse County, Wyo. The #21-34-72 USAB TR 20H SFU (Sundquist Flats Unit) is in Section 21-34n-72w. It initially flowed 1.182 Mbbl of 43.4-degree-gravity oil with 1.044 MMcf of gas and 1.107 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from a horizontal Niobrara lateral drilled to the south-southeast to 21,792 ft with bottom-hole location in Section 27. The true vertical depth is 11,975 ft. It was tested on an 18/64-in. choke after 44-stage fracturing between 12,466 and 21,688 ft.
