Description
PDC Energy Inc. announced results from a Niobrara completion in Weld County, Colo. The #2N MTD is in Section 23-7n-66w. IHS Markit reported that the venture was drilled to 15,757 ft, 7,076 ft true vertical. The Denver-Julesburg Basin discovery flowed 153 bbl of 44° API oil, with 119,000 cu ft of gas and 365 bbl of water per day. It was tested on a 16/64-inch choke and the flowing tubing pressure was 561 psi and the flowing casing pressure was 1,047 psi. Production is from perforations between 8,174 ft and 15,755 ft. PDC’s headquarters are in Denver.
