Description
BW Offshore, has completed drilling at offshore Gabon’s Ruche North East appraisal well, #1-DRNEM, in the Dussafu License. Drilling operations also included an appraisal sidetrack to delineate the discovery. The discovery hit 40 m of pay in Gamba and Dentale. The sidetrack was drilled approximately 800 m to the northwest of the original hole and hit 34 m of pay in Gamba and Dentale. The exploratory test was designed to appraise one of several prospects that has been mapped in the greater Ruche area of the Dussafu License to identify additional resources to include within the Ruche discovery.
