Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Denver-based PDC Energy announced results from three Wattenberg Field-Niobrara completions drilled at a pad in Section 3-4n-64w in Weld County, Colo. The #5N Popham was drilled to 12,283 ft, 6,686 ft true vertical. It initially flowed 217 bbl of 52° API condensate, 1.142 MMcf of gas and 219 bbl of water per day. It was tested after 29-stage fracturing and production is from perforations at 7,157-12,283 ft. Gauged on an 18/64-inch choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,812 psi. The #12N Popham was drilled to 12,217 ft and the true vertical depth is 6,624 ft. It was tested after 29-stage fracturing between 7,031 and 12,121 ft flowing 388 bbl of 52° API oil, 962,000 cu ft of gas and 188 bbl of water per day. Gauged on a 16/64-inch choke, the flowing casing pressure was 1,733 psi. The #7N Popham was drilled to 12,191 ft and the true vertical depth was 6,706 ft. The venture produced 385 bbl of 52° API condensate, 965,000 cu ft of gas and 318 bbl of water per day. It was tested after 29-stage fracturing from perforations at 7,090-12,189 ft. Gauged on a 16/64-inch choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,763 psi.
