Description
A Pecos County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas, Wolfcamp discovery was reported by Tulsa-based Mongoose Energy LLC. The #1H WC Tyrrell 5 was tested flowing 821 bbl of 39.5-degree-gravity crude, 924 Mcf of gas and 4.294 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from from acidized and fracture-treated perforations at 9,819-19,925 ft. Gauged on a 34/64-in. choke, flowing casing pressure was 1,735 psi. The horizontal Hoefs T-K Field well was drilled to 20,089 ft (9,785 ft true vertical) in Section 5, Block 203, M. Emmons Survey, A-5775. The 2-mile lateral bottomed to the west.
