Description
Two Butler County, Pa., wells were completed by Penn Energy Resources. The Winfield West-Marcellus producers were drill at a pad in Section 7, Worthington 7.5 Quad, Winfield Township. The #5H PER W44 was drilled to 14,721 ft, 6,704 ft true vertical, and flowed 4.44 MMcf of gas per day from the Union Springs Shale member of the Marcellus. Production is from fractured perforations at 7,865-14,535 ft. The offsetting #1H PER W60 was drilled to 15,023 ft, 6,466 ft true vertical and flowed 6.336 MMcf of gas per day, also from the Union Springs Shale at 7,895-14,880 ft.
