Description

IHS Markit reported that a second Pink Floyd-themed well has been completed by Abilene, Texas-based Clear Fork Inc. in Scurry County (RRC Dist. 8A), Texas, on the Eastern Shelf of the Permian Basin. The #1H Comfortably Numb 26 produced 892 bbl of 41-degree-gravity crude, 599 Mcf of gas and 3.84 Mbbl of water from fracture-treated Pennsylvanian perforations at 7,369-11,451 ft. The Garden City South Field well is in Section 26, Block 3, H&TC Survey, A-2913. It was drilled to 11,551 ft (6,914 ft true vertical) on a 277.5-acre West Texas lease and it bottomed about 1 mile to the northwest. The initial pilot hole was drilled to approximately 7,550 ft.
