Pine Haven Resources LLC, based in Boulder, Colo., has expanded its Powder River Basin exploratory program in Campbell County, Wyo. According to IHS Markit, company has scheduled 119 horizontal exploratory tests on multi-well drillpads in Section 22, Section 25 and Section 26-47n-72w. Sections 22 and 25 will each have 48 wells, while Section 26 will have 23 wells. Extended-reach laterals will be drilled in Parkman, Sussex, Niobrara and Mowry. Measured total depths range from 16,101 to 20,306 ft. Bottom-hole locations for the wells to be drilled from Section 22 are to the south in Section 34-47n-72w, and to the north in Section 15-47n-72w. Bottom-hole locations for the wells to be drilled from Section 25 are to the south in Section 36-47n-72w, and to the north in Section 13-47n-72w. Bottom-hole locations for the wells to be drilled from Section 26 are to the south in Section 35-47n-72w. All the Pine Haven wells will be drilled on the company’s Red Top Unit leases. The Pine Haven pads are within 2 miles south-southwest of Breen Field, which produces from Pennsylvanian Minnelusa Sand.
