Drilling Activity Summary
Description
The #1 Barta North exploration well in ATP 752P onshore Queensland, Australia, in the Cooper Basin encountered potential oil zones and has been cased and suspended for future testing. According to operator Santos Ltd., along with Bow Energy, the well targeted the Murta sandstone approximately four kilometers west-southwest of the #1 Cuisinier oil discovery. The #1 Barta North encountered up to 4.5 meters of net pay interpreted in the Murta sandstone and deeper in the well, a moderate oil show was seen over a six-meter interval within an intra-Birkhead sandstone. Both zones will be further evaluated by cased-hole testing to determine production.
