Description
Raffles Energy spud #2-Bainet West in the Exploration Area of Romania’s EIV-1 Suceava Concession. The well is targeting Bainet West and the planned depth is 600 m. This prospect has been defined with 2-D seismic and shows similar characteristics to the concession's producing Bainet gas field, which was discovered by #1-Bainet in 2017. The #1-Bainet was drilled to 600 m and hit a 9-m reservoir interval with 8 m of gas in a Sarmatian Sandstone reservoir. The two intervals tested within the main gas pay zone were perforated at 513.3 to 514.8 m and 516.3 to 517.3 m. The well produced 33 Mcf of gas per day during testing on an 8-mm choke.
