Description
Two Beaver County, Pa., Marcellus discoveries were announced by Fort Worth-based Range Resources. The wells were drilled from a pad in Section 8, Aliquippa 7.5 Quad, Independence Township. The #4H Seibel Joseph 11396 was drilled to 21,243 with a true vertical depth of 6,019 ft. It was tested flowing 16.8 MMcf of gas with a shut-in casing pressure of 1,911 psi. Production is from perforations between 6,261 and 21,161 ft. The offsetting #1H Seibel Joseph 11396 was drilled to 23,031 ft, 6,038 ft true vertical, and produced 7.104 MMcf of gas per day with a shut-in casing pressure of 2,104 psi. Production is from perforations at 6,734-22,958 ft.
