Drilling Activity Summary

Description

A Hilltop Resort recompletion by Houston-based Gastar Exploration Ltd. is producing in three additional lower Bossier zones. The #3 Gastar Donnellson is in Leon County (RRC Dist. 5), Texas, Jose Maria Visa Survey, A-30, about 10 miles from Marquez, Texas. The well was tested in a shallow Lanier sand and is currently flowing at a gross sales rate of approximately 19.1 million cu. ft. of gas per day with approximately 5,300 psi of flowing casing pressure. The well was originally completed in 2007 flowing 8.94 million cu. ft. of gas and 90 bbl. of water daily through fracture-treated perforations at 18,890-18,930 ft. in Bossier. As the flowing pressure declines, Gastar plans to commingle the two remaining recompleted zones that are behind isolation plugs. The original completion was making approximately 5.5 million cu. ft. per day before the recent recompletion activity. Gastar owns a 62.3% working interest (47.2% net revenue interest) in the well.
