Description
IHS Markit reported that LCT Energy Ltd. completed a Cotton Valley oil well in East Texas’ Shelton Field. In Red River County (RRC Dist. 6), #2 Underwood A pumped 46 bbl of 36.4-degree-gravity crude and 3 bbl of water per day through perforations at 5,400-14 ft. The 5,695-ft well was drilled on a 40-acre lease in Isaac Wilson Survey, A-910. The Lewisville, Ark.-based company’s first completion in Shelton Field, #2 Rozell, was tested in early 2017 pumping 10 bbl of crude per day from Cotton Valley at 5,444-56 ft. Total depth is 5,700 ft. The well has not yet been brought online.
