Description

Houston-based Southwestern Energy released preliminary data on six new horizontal Fayetteville shale/Arkoma Basin completions in Section 25-9n-15w, Conway County, Ark. The #1-25H24 James Guinn 9-15 was drilled to a measured depth of 8,195 ft. and flowed 3.89 million cu. ft. of gas per day during tests from 4,312-8,104 ft. The #2-25H James Guinn 9-15, a southward lateral, flowed 3.47 million cu. ft. of gas daily from 4,200-8,235 ft. About 50 ft. west, #3-25H24 James Guinn 9-15 flowed 5.49 million cu. ft. of gas per day through perforations between 4,564-8,349 ft. From the same pad, #4-25H James Guinn 9-15 had an initial daily flowing potential of 4.58 million cu. ft. of gas and produced from 4,437-8,357 ft. in a south lateral leg. From a common nearby drill pad, #5-25H James Guinn 9-15 flowed 3.65 million cu. ft. and #6-25H James Guinn 9-15 flowed 3.7 million cu. ft. per day.
