Mewbourne Oil Co. announced results from a Skinner Sand discovery in Dewey County, Okla. The Putnam Field well, #4HSR Camargo Ranch 2/35 PB, flowed 250 bbl of 45° API oil, with 960,000 cu ft of gas per day and no reported water. It was drilled in Section 11-17n-19w to a total depth of 17,051 ft and a true vertical depth of 9,655 ft. Production is from a perforated zone at 10,205-16,950 ft. Tested on a 24/64-inch choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,360 psi. Mewbourne’s headquarters are in Tyler, Texas.
