Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Two horizontal Delaware oil wells were completed by Ring Energy on the northwestern flank of Matthews Field in Culberson County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas. IHS Markit reported that the discoveries are on a 320-acre Delaware Basin lease in Section 23, Block 58 T1S, T&P RR Co Survey, A-2650. The #1H Hugin was tested on-pump for 684 bbl of 33.3-degree-gravity crude, 806 Mcf of gas and 2.712 Mbbl of water per day through fracture-stimulated perforations in Brushy Canyon at 6,464-10,216 ft. The well was drilled to 10,457 ft and the lateral bottomed about 1 mile to the north. The true vertical depth is 6,142 ft. A parallel test, #2H Hugin, initially flowed 342 bbl of 33.3-degree-gravity oil, 486 Mcf of gas and 2.27 Mbbl of water daily from a fracture-treated zone at 6,416-10,278 ft. It was drilled to 10,376 ft with a true vertical depth of 6,143 ft and 5 1/2-in. casing set on bottom.
