Description

A BP discovery in the Anadarko Basin flowed 620 bbl of 34-degree-gravity oil, 1.14 MMcf of gas and 507 bbl of water. The horizontal producer, #4H Mesa Vista 2, is in Section 2, Block 46, H&TC Survey, A-814, in Roberts County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas. Production is from a fracture-stimulated lateral in Des Moines Granite Wash C between 8,845 and 13,148 ft. The venture was drilled to the south in the section. It was tested on a 40/64-in. choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 34 psi and was drilled to 13,143 ft, 8,491 ft true vertical. BP is based in London.
