Description
Shell Oil Co. is drilling with its #1 Olympia Minerals 26 in Bayou San Miguel Field in North Louisiana's Sabine Parish, Section 26-9n-12w. The nearest well in the field is 0.75 mile northwest. The #1 Boise Southern B-3 was completed in 1976. The well produced 4 bbl. of crude and 4,000 cu. ft. of gas a day through Fredericksburg (Paluxy) perforations at 3,446-50 ft. It yielded 1,023 bbl. of oil and 11.23 million cu. ft. of gas through 1980. Shell permitted its #1 Murray 31 last December as part of Grogan Field about 5.5 miles north-northeast. The company also completed a 14,000-ft. test about 15 miles southwest of its current well. The lone Cotton Valley producer also proved the deepest production in the parish as part of Zwolle Field.
