In Chaves County, N.M. a San Andres producer was completed on the Northwestern Shelf of the Permian Basin, by Marshall & Winston Inc. According to IHS Markit, #004H Hi Bob Federal was tested pumping 69 bbl of 36° API crude, 17,000 cu ft of gas and 972 bbl of water per day from acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 3,530-8,780 ft. The Round Tank Field well was drilled to a total depth of 8,848 ft and is in Section 8-15s-29e. The true vertical depth is 3,271 ft with the lateral bottoming about 1 mile to the south in nearby Section 17. The Midland, Texas-based company plans to drill the offsetting and parallel #003H Hi Bob Federal to 8,793 ft (3,215 ft true vertical).
